For most people, music is a part of their lives, but for me…music is life” – Asif, an asylum seeker living in Moria, Lesbos, Greece.
Like Asif, many refugees and asylum seekers who are currently waiting in borders are living under impossible and terrible circumstances wherein they do not have necessities like warm clothes, shoes and so on. We want to do what we can to help, and what better way to do so than being part of a charity music concert.
So join us at Alchemia, with some amazing artists who will be giving their time and a fantastic range of music for us to listen to. The money raised through this concert will be donated to an NGO that supports refugees in the Bosnian border. The situation of refugees in Bosnia is often neglected in media and we would therefore use this opportunity to bring this situation in the front line.
MOST importantly, the star of the show would be Mulham Abordan, a former refugee from Syria, who is a musician and will be coming to Krakow to share his music, his experience and his story with YOU!
You can buy the tickets at the venue which will be for 25 zl (as most concerts). However, if you are feeling generous this time of the year, you are welcome to give more 🙂
So what better way to spend your Friday evening than to listen to some great music, contribute to a beautiful cause and join the collective action movement to #rethinkrefugees
