Cinema – with capital “C” – FESTIVAL OF WOMEN 2007.
Festival of Women and Alchemia Club invite you for a meeting with Dominika Montean – a graduate of English Philology on Jagiellonian University and Film School in Katowice.
Her movie “Say Something” was presented on many competitions and won Best Director and Best Cinematography awards on the 14. International Festival SMOFi 2004 and a prize for Best Actor on Jutro Filmu 2005 Festival.
Screenings:
1. “Autor wychodzi” (“An author is leaving”), 2006 – début, medium
métrage, produced by Stowarzyszenie Filmowcow Polskich (An
Association of Polish Filmmakers), “Young Début” programm.
Starring: Kamilla Baar, Olgierd £ukaszewicz, Marcin Bosak, Jan
Nowicki.
2. “Powiedz cos” (“Say something”), 2004 – diploma film. Starring:
Mariusz Bonaszewski, Tadeusz Bradecki, Anna Polony.
3. “Marsz Samotnych Kobiet. Rocznik 1973” (“A March of Lonely
Women. A Year of 1973”) – a document about searching old friends
from an elementary school, making an attempt to meet, trying to
test the old schoolmates’ friendship. It is also a movie about making
documentaries.
