The presentation of ONE MINUTE VIDEO project and spanish short movies first time in Poland!
International Women’s Film Festival of Barcelona invites you for presentation of the best shorts made by women directors from Iberian peninsula, the unique video-project and a short lecture about perspectives of women in European cinematography.
The International Women's Film Festival of Barcelona, began in June 1993, has as its objective the promotion of cinema directed by women, making women's audiovisual culture visible, showing films by women film-makers from all over the world, thus proving the importance of women's contribution to the development in audiovisual creation. After more than a decade of history, the International Women's Film Festival of Barcelona has become a stable cultural space and a launching pad for alternative showings that are more and more committed to the debate on creative processes.
Anna Fonoll, our special guest from Barcelona, will give a short, but very interesting lecture about perspectives of women filmmakers in European cinematography.
We’ll present the best short movies from the Festival of Barcelona, such us:
“La Valiente” w reż. Isabel Ayguavives (Spain, 2004)
"Papeles" w reż. Elizar Arroyo (Spain, 2006)
"Diario de un desamor" w reż. Patricia Campo (Spain, 2006)
„Tocata y Fuga en mi” (Spain, 2006).
There will be a presentation of “ONE MINUTE VIDEO” project. For more that six years The International Women's Film Festival of Barcelona has been working on this project, which is thought as a space for women video creation. This is an open called to all women to present videos on one shoot and one minute long about a general theme proposed. All this videos are edited by us just putting them together to create a collective film understood as a kaleidoscopic women view on one theme.
